How to Write a Good Thesis Statement.

A thesis statement  is a specific claim that is supported by your essay.

Thesis Statement:

• It is an arguable statement.
• It includes a precise opinion and reasoning.
• It is the last sentence of the introduction.
• It tells your reader where you are going in your essay and how you plan to get there

 Parts of the Thesis Statement

1)    The Subject is the topic of your essay.

2)    The Opinion is your opinion on the subject.

3)    The blueprint of reasons is the way you prove your opinion with arguments.
